Role Overview: As an AI Data Engineer at Widenet Consulting, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of data for AI and machine learning use cases. You will focus on building robust data pipelines and models, ensuring high-quality data availability for enterprise AI initiatives. What You'll Do: - You will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks to process raw and clean data layers. - You will build and optimize data models and transformations in Snowflake to support AI/ML workloads. - You will implement data transformation and testing frameworks using DBT to ensure data quality and reliability. - You will collaborate with data scientists and AI teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. - You will monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and resolve issues proactively. - You will document data processes and maintain best practices for data engineering. - You will contribute to the continuous improvement of the Enterprise Data Platform’s AI data capabilities. What You Bring: - 3+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably with a focus on AI/ML data pipelines. - Proficiency in Databricks, Snowflake, and DBT for data processing, warehousing, and transformation. - Strong programming skills in Python and SQL. - Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data quality testing. - Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and AI model deployment. - Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes. - Background in big data technologies such as Spark or Kafka.
