Role Overview: As an AI Data Engineer at Widenet Consulting, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality data pipelines and models to support AI and machine learning initiatives. You will work closely with data scientists and engineers to build scalable data infrastructure using modern tools and platforms. What You'll Do: - You will design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Databricks to process raw and clean data layers. - You will implement data transformations and testing frameworks with DBT to ensure data quality and reliability. - You will manage and optimize data storage solutions within Snowflake data warehouse environments. - You will collaborate with AI/ML teams to understand data requirements and deliver tailored datasets. - You will monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot data issues to maintain seamless data flow. - You will document data processes and contribute to best practices for data engineering. - You will stay current with emerging data technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems. What You Bring: - 3+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably with a focus on AI/ML data pipelines. - Proficiency in Databricks, Snowflake, and DBT for data processing, warehousing, and transformation. - Strong programming skills in Python and SQL for data manipulation and automation. - Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data quality testing. - Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and model deployment. - Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes. - Background in big data technologies such as Spark or Kafka.
