Description: The Senior Product Manager defines and drives the product strategy that positions WhiteFox as a market leader in counter-UAS technology. This role is responsible for translating customer needs, market trends, and competitive insights into actionable product requirements and roadmaps. Working cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Production, and Leadership, the Senior Product Manager ensures WhiteFox delivers innovative, high-quality products that meet regulatory, commercial, and defense requirements. The Senior Product Manager balances strategic thinking with execution, guiding products from concept through launch and lifecycle management. This role requires a mix of technical acumen, customer insight, market awareness, and organizational leadership. Location: Remote role with periodic travel to San Luis Obispo, CA. Additional domestic and international travel required for customer visits, conferences, and partner meetings. Responsibility: Product Strategy & Roadmap • Own and communicate the product vision and roadmap aligned to company strategy. • Define product requirements through research, customer engagement, and competitive analysis. • Identify and prioritize opportunities that differentiate WhiteFox in the market. • Translate strategic goals into actionable plans with clear success metrics. Customer & Market Insights • Gather and analyze feedback from customers, partners, and the field to shape product direction. • Conduct market research, evaluate industry trends, and monitor competitor offerings. • Ensure WhiteFox products anticipate customer needs and regulatory requirements. Cross-Functional Leadership • Partner with Engineering to translate product requirements into technical specifications. • Work closely with Sales and Sales Engineering to understand customer needs and support go-to-market success. • Collaborate with Production to ensure product manufacturability, quality, and timely delivery. • Align stakeholders across functions to deliver coordinated execution. Execution & Delivery • Lead product planning, requirements definition, and release prioritization. • Define go-to-market strategies, launch plans, and product messaging in collaboration with Marketing and Sales. • Monitor product performance post-launch, track KPIs, and drive improvements. • Manage lifecycle of existing products, including iterations, updates, and end-of-life planning. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. • 7+ years of product management experience in technology-driven industries (defense, aerospace, hardware/software, or similar). • Proven success delivering products from concept through launch. • Strong understanding of hardware/software integration, complex systems, and customer use cases. • Experience working with defense or regulated markets preferred. • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. • Skilled in product management frameworks and tools (e.g., Agile/Scrum, Jira, Confluence, Productboard). • Ability to balance strategic vision with executional detail. • Eligible to meet International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) access requirements.
