A CPA firm that has been in business for over 35 years is seeking a Senior Auditor. They have an Audit, Tax, and Outsourced Accounting Group that have established clients in the Financial Services (Broker-Dealer) and non-Financial Services space. This role offers exposure to a variety of industries and the opportunity to take ownership of client engagements. The firm promotes work-life balance and provides a clear path for advancement. Compensation : $100000 - $110000 Job ID : 7376 Job Function: • Stay current on accounting standards, reporting regulations, and industry developments. • Review audit procedures, primarily for financial services clients. • Supervise, train, and mentor staff while overseeing daily operations. • Review financial statements and disclosures for completeness and accuracy. • Ensure compliance with firm policies and professional guidelines. • Identify audit and risk management issues and collaborate with quality review teams. Job Requirements: • 3-5 years of prior work experience in public accounting • Advanced knowledge of GAAP and GAAS. • Knowledge of SEC and PCAOB reporting rules. • Knowledge of hedge fund and broker-dealer industry preferred.
