Job Summary Responsible for leading operational excellence across all fabrication facilities, ensuring safety, compliance, and performance. Establishes and monitors Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and implements robust reporting to support strategic objectives and profitability, and formalizes Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities Promote a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other applicable codes. Oversee safety programs, training, and audits to maintain a zero-incident environment. Standardize SOPs for fabrication processes, equipment use, and maintenance. Ensure consistent practices across regions to maximize efficiency and scalability. Define and track KPIs for production, quality, utilization, and safety. Deliver monthly performance reports to senior leadership, highlighting trends and improvement opportunities. Implement data-driven dashboards and reporting tools for real-time operational visibility. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of cost centers, branch P&Ls, and regional metrics. Mentor regional managers, fostering accountability and continuous improvement. Collaborate with Sales, Estimating, Detailing, and Purchasing to align operations with business goals. Nature and Scope Problems are typically defined by higher level leadership. Problems are difficult. Solutions require analysis and investigation. Decides how to achieve planned results within an organization's plans, policies, and guidelines. May set or change plans/goals within respective department or area. May manage department via multiple layers of managers OR directly supervise a staff of professional individual contributors at the senior or technical advisor level. Work Environment Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time. Education and Experience Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 9+ years of experience in a related field, including several years in a management/supervisory capacity. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field (advanced degree preferred) 8+ years in rebar fabrication or construction operations, including 5+ years in leadership. Proven expertise in safety management, process standardization, and KPI-driven improvement. Strong analytical skills with experience in reporting tools and dashboards. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Strategic thinking and experience implementing enterprise-wide initiatives. Knowledge of aSa, Oracle or similar ERP systems.
