Our client is searching for an innovative and results-oriented Sports Marketing Manager to lead strategic marketing initiatives for their exciting brand in the Leisure & Sports sector. This is a fully remote position, offering the unique opportunity to shape marketing campaigns from anywhere in the US. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans that increase brand awareness, drive fan engagement, and support revenue growth. This includes managing digital marketing efforts, social media presence, content creation, partnership activations, and event marketing. Your deep understanding of sports culture, consumer behavior, and digital marketing trends will be essential for success. You will collaborate with internal teams, external agencies, and sports partners to bring campaigns to life. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement within the sports industry. Manage and execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels including social media, email, SEO/SEM, and display advertising. Oversee the creation of compelling content, including video, written articles, and graphics, tailored for sports enthusiasts. Build and maintain strong relationships with sports leagues, teams, athletes, and influencers. Plan and execute promotional activities, sponsorships, and event activations. Analyze marketing campaign performance, track key metrics, and provide regular reports on ROI and effectiveness. Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximize impact. Collaborate with sales, product development, and creative teams to ensure brand consistency and achieve business objectives. Stay ahead of emerging trends in sports marketing, digital media, and consumer engagement. Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals in a remote setting. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive experience in sports marketing, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful campaigns. Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing, social media management, content strategy, and analytics. Strong understanding of the sports landscape, including major leagues, athletes, and fan culture. Excellent project management, communication, and presentation skills. Experience managing budgets and external agencies or partners. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Creative thinking and a passion for innovation in marketing. Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems is a plus.
