Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Event Operations Manager to join their team in **Nashville, Tennessee, US**. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of a wide range of events, from large-scale festivals and concerts to corporate gatherings and intimate celebrations. You will be responsible for all logistical aspects of event planning and execution, including venue management, vendor coordination, staffing, and on-site supervision. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of event production, safety protocols, and budget management. You will work closely with the events team to develop operational plans, risk assessments, and contingency strategies. Your role will involve managing relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring all services are delivered to the highest standard. This position requires excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and a keen eye for detail. You will be expected to lead on-site teams, troubleshoot any issues that arise during events, and ensure a positive experience for all attendees. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work remotely on certain planning tasks while being present on-site during crucial event phases. Responsibilities: Oversee all operational aspects of event planning and execution; Manage venue logistics, including setup, breakdown, and maintenance; Coordinate and manage all event vendors, suppliers, and contractors; Develop and implement comprehensive event safety and security plans; Recruit, train, and manage event staff and volunteers; Create and manage event budgets, ensuring financial targets are met; Conduct post-event evaluations and reporting; Liaise with clients, performers, and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met; Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues that arise before, during, or after events. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in event operations management. Proven track record of successfully managing diverse types of events. Strong understanding of event production, technical requirements, and logistics. Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations within the events industry. Proficient in event management software and standard office applications. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
