A rapidly growing e-commerce company is looking for an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Operations Manager to lead its state-of-the-art fulfillment center in **Cincinnati, Ohio, US**. This critical role is responsible for overseeing all warehouse activities, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and returns, to ensure efficient and accurate operations that meet stringent customer demands. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and warehousing, with a proven ability to optimize processes, manage large teams, and implement best practices in a fast-paced environment. You will be instrumental in driving productivity, reducing operational costs, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities: Manage and direct all warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control. Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and throughput. Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse associates and supervisors to achieve performance targets. Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency and space utilization. Implement and maintain inventory management systems and processes to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies; maintain a safe working environment. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports on warehouse performance to senior management. Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and carriers. Implement and manage continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse operations. Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure the proper functioning of all warehouse machinery. Manage operational budgets and control expenses effectively. Resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, with a strong focus on e-commerce fulfillment operations. Proven track record of managing large teams and driving operational efficiency. In-depth knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant logistics software. Strong understanding of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience with inventory management, order fulfillment processes, and shipping logistics. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations. Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment and adapt to changing priorities.
