Our client is a leading logistics provider seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee their busy distribution center in **Jacksonville, Florida**. This role is essential for managing all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, shipping, and inventory control. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), and a commitment to operational efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement. This hybrid position requires a strategic leader who can balance on-site oversight with remote planning and analysis. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of all processes. Manage and lead a team of warehouse staff, providing training, motivation, and performance evaluations. Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Optimize inventory management processes to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies. Manage receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping activities. Utilize and optimize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory and manage operations. Develop and implement strategies for process improvement and cost reduction. Coordinate with transportation and customer service departments to ensure smooth logistics flow. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports on warehouse performance. Ensure compliance with all company policies and industry regulations. Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and facility upkeep. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations management. Proven experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and logistics software. Strong understanding of lean principles, inventory control, and supply chain best practices. Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing hands-on oversight with strategic planning. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting. Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
