Our client is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Operations Manager to oversee and optimize their logistics and warehousing operations in **Cincinnati, Ohio, US**. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient flow of goods from procurement to delivery, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and managing warehouse activities. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of supply chain best practices, and a proven ability to drive operational excellence. This hybrid role requires a balance of on-site presence for critical operational oversight and remote flexibility for strategic planning and analysis. Responsibilities: Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods. Develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance inventory accuracy. Oversee inventory management systems, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing stockouts or overstock situations. Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, providing training, performance management, and fostering a safe work environment. Collaborate with procurement, sales, and transportation teams to ensure seamless end-to-end supply chain execution. Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse and logistics operations. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions using lean or Six Sigma methodologies. Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) as needed. Develop and manage the operational budget for the warehouse and logistics functions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in logistics and warehouse operations, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role. Proven experience in inventory management, WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), and ERP systems. Strong understanding of supply chain principles, transportation modes, and international logistics. Demonstrated leadership ability with experience in team management and development. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis. Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
