Our client, a leading technology innovator, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex cloud infrastructure projects within a fully remote team environment. This role requires a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, drive projects from initiation to completion, and deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget. You will be responsible for defining project scope, establishing project plans, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring effective communication among all stakeholders. As a remote-first Senior Project Manager, you will leverage your expertise in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) to guide projects related to cloud migration, infrastructure build-outs, and service deployments. You will foster a collaborative team dynamic, promote best practices, and ensure adherence to established standards and processes. Your strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills will be critical to success. Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of cloud infrastructure projects from inception through closure. Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, timelines, and budget management. Identify project risks and dependencies, and develop mitigation strategies. Manage cross-functional project teams, including engineers, architects, and other technical staff. Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and senior leadership. Ensure adherence to project management best practices and company standards. Track project progress, manage changes, and report on project status regularly. Oversee the successful implementation and deployment of cloud solutions. Conduct project post-mortems and identify lessons learned for continuous improvement. Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to project deliverables. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. PMP or similar project management certification is highly desirable. Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a significant focus on IT infrastructure and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP). Proven experience managing large-scale cloud migration and infrastructure deployment projects. Deep understanding of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to manage stakeholders at all levels, including executive management. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project). Ability to thrive in a remote work environment, demonstrating strong self-discipline and proactive engagement. Experience with DevOps principles and practices is a plus. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the US.
