Our client, a highly respected charitable organization, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Program Manager to lead their community outreach initiatives in Portland, Oregon, US . This hybrid role offers the flexibility to blend remote planning and administrative tasks with on-site community engagement and event management. The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing impactful programs designed to serve and uplift the local community. Key responsibilities include designing comprehensive outreach strategies, identifying community needs, and establishing partnerships with local organizations and stakeholders. You will manage program budgets, allocate resources effectively, and ensure the successful execution of outreach events, workshops, and educational activities. This role demands strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a deep commitment to social impact. You will lead a team of program coordinators and volunteers, providing guidance, motivation, and support to achieve program objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Non-profit Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus. A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in program management, community development, or non-profit leadership is required. Proven success in designing and managing community-based programs, including experience with fundraising and grant writing, is highly desirable. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills are essential for building relationships with diverse community members and stakeholders. Experience with volunteer management and program evaluation methodologies is also beneficial.
