Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Operations Manager to oversee manufacturing and production activities in Miami, Florida, US . This role demands strong leadership, strategic planning, and a commitment to operational excellence. Responsibilities: Direct and manage all aspects of the manufacturing and production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Develop and implement strategic operational plans aligned with company goals and market demands. Oversee production scheduling, inventory management, and supply chain logistics. Implement and continuously improve lean manufacturing principles and methodologies. Manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement action plans to address deviations. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus. Minimum of 8 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 4 years in a management or supervisory role. Proven track record of success in managing large-scale production environments. Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent leadership, team-building, and people management skills. Proficiency in ERP systems and production planning software. Strong financial acumen and experience managing operational budgets. Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic planning abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization. Experience in the (specific industry, e.g., consumer goods, electronics) sector is preferred.
