Our client, a prominent national retail chain, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Retail Operations Manager to oversee store performance and drive operational excellence. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and profitable operation of multiple retail locations within a designated territory. You will be instrumental in implementing company policies and procedures, optimizing store layouts, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of customer service. This position requires a strong understanding of retail dynamics, effective leadership skills, and a proven ability to motivate and develop store teams. Key responsibilities include setting sales targets, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and developing strategies to achieve or exceed objectives. You will conduct regular store visits, providing coaching and support to Store Managers and their teams. Managing operational budgets, controlling costs, and ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and security regulations are crucial. Identifying opportunities for process improvement, enhancing the customer experience, and driving sales growth will be a primary focus. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in retail management, with at least 3 years in a multi-unit management role, is required. Proven experience in inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer relationship management is essential. Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are critical. You must be adept at analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and implementing effective solutions.
