Our client is seeking a visionary and experienced Director of Strategic Operations Management to lead and transform our operational strategies. This is a fully remote leadership position, offering the opportunity to drive significant change and impact from anywhere. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive operational strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives. This includes overseeing process improvements, resource allocation, performance management, and driving efficiency and profitability across all operational facets. Your role will involve extensive data analysis, identifying key performance indicators (KPIs), and establishing frameworks for operational excellence. You will lead a distributed team of operations professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include strategic planning, budget management, risk assessment, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, coupled with a deep understanding of operational management principles, supply chain, and project management. Experience in leading large-scale transformations and managing P&L responsibilities is highly desirable. You will collaborate closely with executive leadership across departments to ensure cohesive and effective operational execution. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic operational plans to achieve business goals. Oversee and optimize core business processes for efficiency and effectiveness. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational success. Lead and mentor a remote team of operations managers and professionals. Manage operational budgets and ensure financial performance targets are met. Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. Collaborate with executive leadership to align operational strategies with business objectives. Implement best practices in resource management and capacity planning. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance within the operations function. A Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is required. A Bachelor's degree with extensive relevant experience will also be considered. A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, is mandatory. Proven track record of developing and implementing successful operational strategies, driving significant improvements in efficiency and profitability, is essential. Strong financial acumen, including P&L management experience, is highly preferred. Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, leadership, and communication skills are critical. Experience in managing and leading remote teams effectively is a must. This role is fully remote, supporting operations relevant to Cincinnati, Ohio, US .
