Our client, a dynamic and innovative tech startup experiencing rapid expansion, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to join their team in Sacramento, California, US . This essential role is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the office, creating a positive and productive work environment for all employees. The ideal candidate is a multi-tasker with exceptional administrative, communication, and problem-solving skills, capable of managing diverse responsibilities in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities: Oversee general office operations, including managing supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships (e.g., cleaning services, IT support, building maintenance). Coordinate and manage office calendars, scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for executives and teams. Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries, directing them to the appropriate personnel. Manage incoming and outgoing mail, shipments, and deliveries. Develop and implement office policies and procedures to improve efficiency and maintain a professional atmosphere. Plan and organize company events, team-building activities, and social gatherings. Maintain office facilities, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Assist with onboarding new employees, including preparing workspaces and necessary materials. Manage expense reporting and assist with basic bookkeeping tasks as needed. Ensure the proper functioning of office equipment and coordinate maintenance or repairs. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information. Assist with project management tasks and support various departments as required. Manage visitor reception and ensure a positive first impression for clients and partners. Research and recommend cost-effective solutions for office needs. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in office management, administration, or a similar role, preferably in a startup or tech environment. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively. Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace. Experience with project management tools is a plus. A proactive, self-starter attitude with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Discretion and ability to handle confidential information. Experience in coordinating remote teams and managing virtual office environments is advantageous.
