Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Lead Project Manager, IT Infrastructure to oversee critical technology projects in **Dallas, Texas, US**. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in managing complex IT infrastructure initiatives from conception through completion. You will lead cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Lead Project Manager will be responsible for project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication. This position requires a deep understanding of project management methodologies, IT infrastructure components, and best practices in agile and waterfall approaches. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of projects, including network upgrades, data center migrations, cloud implementations, and cybersecurity enhancements. You will be expected to develop detailed project plans, establish project timelines, define project scope, and secure necessary resources. Effective stakeholder management is crucial, as you will be the primary point of contact for senior management, vendors, and project teams. A passion for technology and a drive for excellence are essential for success in this position. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage multiple IT infrastructure projects simultaneously. Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budget, and timelines. Define project requirements and manage scope changes effectively. Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively. Oversee resource allocation and team performance. Facilitate regular project status meetings and provide clear, concise reports to stakeholders. Ensure adherence to project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid). Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations. Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members. Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and tools. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is highly preferred. Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years focused on IT infrastructure projects. Proven experience managing large-scale, complex technology projects. Strong understanding of network technologies, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data center operations. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira). Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively. Experience in a hybrid work environment.
