Our client in Portland, Oregon, US is looking for a strategic and results-oriented Director of Talent Acquisition to lead their Human Resources initiatives. This senior leadership role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive talent acquisition strategies that attract, assess, and hire top-tier talent across all levels of the organization. You will oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, from employer branding and sourcing to offer negotiation and onboarding. This position requires a deep understanding of modern recruitment methodologies, market intelligence, and diversity & inclusion best practices. The Director will manage a team of recruiters, set performance metrics, and ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience. Responsibilities include: Developing and executing a forward-thinking talent acquisition strategy aligned with business objectives. Building and maintaining a robust talent pipeline for critical roles. Leveraging various sourcing channels, including social media, professional networks, and recruitment agencies. Managing and coaching the talent acquisition team to achieve hiring goals. Implementing and optimizing recruitment technologies (ATS, CRM). Developing and managing the recruitment budget. Ensuring a consistent and compelling employer brand message. Analyzing recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement and report on key performance indicators (KPIs). Collaborating with hiring managers to define job requirements and develop effective recruitment plans. Championing diversity and inclusion in all hiring practices. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least 10 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, including a significant portion in a leadership or management capacity. Proven success in building and scaling recruitment functions within fast-paced environments is essential. Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills are a must. A Master's degree or relevant HR certifications are highly desirable. This is a critical role for an ambitious HR professional looking to make a significant impact.
