About the Team/Role: The Information Security team is looking for someone with a strong work ethic, fantastic attitude and who is comfortable tackling any challenge set before them. How you'll make an impact: Assist in reviewing, updating, and maintaining information security policies, standards, and procedures. Support risk assessment activities, including vendor/supply chain security risk reviews. Help track and document compliance with regulatory and industry frameworks (e.g., PCI DSS, NIST CSF, ISO 27001). Participate in internal security awareness and training campaigns. Assist with evidence collection for audits, assessments, and customer security questionnaires. Contribute to the monitoring and reporting of security metrics and compliance dashboards. Research emerging cybersecurity regulations, best practices, and technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Legal, Procurement, etc.) to support security initiatives. Experience you'll bring: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field and will have completed at least your Sophomore year of school at the start of the internship. Strong troubleshooting skills. Ability to multi-task across multiple technologies and work both independently and in a team environment. Ability to interact with a broad cross-section of personnel to explain complex security topics to both technical and non-technical settings. Strong project management skills, including planning and execution. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting information. Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills. Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills. Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment. The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
