Opportunity Overview: Project Management Consultant - Permit Coordinator Contract 1 Year Juno Beach, FL -100% Onsite   Your Day-to-Day: The Permit Coordinator manages and facilitates the permitting process to build Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) facilities. You will work directly with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) to obtain all permits required to build and operate the facility.   You will have abilities to facilitate project progress, identify and apply lessons learned, foresee and manage project risk. Additionally, they will create tools and standardize work practices to maximize the efficiency of all projects. Responsibilities Coordinate permit applications for BESS construction projects across multiple jurisdictions Maintain relationships with local AHJs to facilitate the permitting process Report permit status and ensure submission of all required documentation Collaborate with engineering, construction, and project management teams Interpret and apply local building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental requirements Review permit applications and support documentation Identify potential permitting issues early and develop mitigation strategies Maintain accurate records of permit applications, approvals, and related communications Attend pre-application meetings with regulatory agencies Keep project teams informed of permitting timelines and requirements Who You Are: 3+ years of experience in a corporate environment in permitting, regulatory compliance, or related field Experience with construction projects related to renewable energy, electrical utility or major infrastructure Experience with building codes and permitting processes Working Conditions Primary work in office environment with standard business hours, Monday through Friday May require occasional travel to project sites and regulatory offices Our Safety Pledge to You: If you are as committed to your success as we are committed to your safety, then this is the position for you!
