Truck Technician / Mechanic – All Levels Western Branch Diesel Portsmouth, VA $20-$50 Per Hour Up to $5,000 sign on bonus   Western Branch Diesel, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, has an opening for all levels of Diesel Truck Mechanics at our location in Portsmouth, Virginia. This individual can be looking to start their career or have previous experience as a technician. Indel Power Group is a distributor/dealer for major brands such as mtu, Detroit Diesel, Allison Transmission, Cummins, Caterpillar, Volvo Penta, Freightliner, Western Star, Isuzu, Autocar, and Crane Carrier to name a few. Occasional heavy lifting and pushing/pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds (or more) may be required. While performing the duties of this job, the Technician will frequently use hands to manipulate and grasp objects; reach with hands and arms; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, stretch, or twist to perform repairs and inspections. Good vision to inspect repair work and effective communication are essential. Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
