Job Title: Senior IT Project Manager Location: Block 23 What you'll do: As the Senior IT Project Manager, you'll lead and deliver complex, high-impact IT projects that align with organizational goals. You'll work on end-to-end project management, planning, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors. As the Senior IT Project Manager, you'll ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards while managing risks and driving continuous process improvement. This role also requires strong technical acumen, deep understanding of SDLC, and proven experience in managing Agile/Scrum teams. The ideal candidate will also have experience in banking or financial services and a track record of driving digital transformation programs. Plan, execute, and deliver complex IT projects, ensuring alignment with stakeholder objectives. Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders. Manage end-to-end delivery of IT projects, ensuring adherence to SDLC/PMLC standards. Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and resource plans and allocation. Identify dependencies and prioritize tasks to optimize project delivery timelines. Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and outcomes. Facilitate effective communication and decision-making across teams and leadership. Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project managers and team members. Ensure project documentation is up-to-date and accessible for future reference. Optimize resource utilization to maximize project efficiency. Identify opportunities for improving project management processes and methodologies. Drive execution of digital transformation initiatives working with cross functional technical teams. Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to have a fair understanding of technical designs, data flows and integrations. Ensure alignment of project deliverables with design, architecture and technology standards. When working with Agile teams, facilitate scrum ceremonies, partner with Scrum Masters/RTEs, and promote the culture of continuous improvement. Partner with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and external vendors to ensure alignment and management of cross functional dependencies. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; maintain compliance with governance frameworks. Prepare and present risk reports and escalation plans to leadership. Communicate effectively with senior executives and cross-functional teams. Influence decision-making and drive consensus across diverse stakeholder groups. Provide regular status reporting to all stakeholders, ensuring alignment across the board. What you'll need: 8+ years of related experience in Project Management or similar field. Bachelor's degree in related field required. Previous leadership experience preferred. Experience and knowledge of Financial Services or Banking is preferred. Knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards, and practices. Advanced experience in IT project management managing large, complex projects with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Advanced experience working with project management tools (e.g., Workfront, MS Project, Planview, Jira, Azure DevOps or similar). Strong understanding of IT systems, software development life cycles (SDLC), and cloud technologies while also demonstrating strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with team members, stakeholders, and external partners. Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives in a regulated environment. Advanced speaking and writing communication skills. Preferred experience with digital transformation, digital conversion or projects emerged from M&A activities. Project Management Professional Certification, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification. May require up to 25% travel.
