At West Delray Veterinary, we practice progressive, integrative, and mindful medicine in a healing, nurturing environment. We are currently seeking a Veterinary Practice Manager to oversee daily operations across both West Delray Veterinary and our sister practice, Mindful Veterinary Care in Lake Worth. This is a high-touch, leadership role that requires a consistent physical presence in the hospital to support doctors, technicians, and client service teams. The Practice Manager works in a shared office environment alongside other team members and serves as a visible, accessible leader within the hospital. Remote work flexibility will be available after a structured onboarding period, however the majority of this role is performed on-site to ensure hands-on leadership, team engagement, operational oversight, and real-time problem solving. This position plays a critical role in driving operational excellence, financial performance, team development, and a positive workplace culture across both practices. What We’re Looking For: • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Management, or related field required • Minimum 5 years of leadership or management experience (veterinary preferred) • Certified Veterinary Practice Manager preferred • Experience managing budgets and P&L statements • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills • Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices • Experience with payroll, benefits administration, and staffing oversight • A positive, adaptable attitude and genuine love for people (and animals!) Job Description: The Veterinary Practice Manager oversees the administrative and operational functions of both hospitals, ensuring smooth daily workflow, strong financial health, and a cohesive, engaged team. Operational Leadership: • Oversee daily hospital operations across both locations • Ensure efficient scheduling, workflow optimization, and productivity • Maintain compliance with AAHA standards and regulatory requirements • Monitor inventory, vendor relationships, and cost controls • Support implementation of systems, policies, and process improvements Financial Management: • Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and performance metrics • Monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability across both practices • Collaborate with ownership on strategic planning and growth initiatives • Ensure accurate payroll processing and financial compliance Team Leadership & Development: • Lead hiring, onboarding, and performance management processes • Conduct evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions when necessary • Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and engagement • Serve as a visible, approachable leader and resource for staff • Support conflict resolution and maintain a positive workplace environment HR & Administrative Oversight: • Oversee HR functions including compliance, policies, and employee relations • Manage benefits administration and team-related programming • Maintain personnel records and ensure legal compliance Personal Attributes: • Confident, compassionate, and decisive leader • High integrity, accountability, and professionalism • Strong organizational and multitasking skills • Ability to remain composed during high-pressure situations • Strategic thinker with hands-on management style Why Join Us?
