ARCHITECTURAL SHEET METAL DRAFTER/Engineer POSITION SUMMARY & REQUIREMENTS: We are looking for an experienced and motivated CAD/Drafter to produce shop drawings in AutoCAD/REVIT for customer review. The right candidate will have prior experience in the Architectural Sheet Metal field or construction drawings and possess a basic understanding of construction processes and requirements as well as excellent communication and multitasking skills. SPECIFIC DUTIES: • Drafting using computer-aided design (CAD) software. • Drafting using REVIT software. • Creating diagrams and layouts to illustrate the sequencing of work. • Collaborating with the design team to review drawings and designs. • Making adjustments to drawings according to feedback from engineers or architects. • Ensuring designs comply with company regulations and quality standards. EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS: • Complete understanding of blueprints/Construction Drawings. • A bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, design, structural, or a similar field. (Preferred but not required) • Self-sufficient in AutoCAD. • 3-5 Years’ Experience in Architectural shop drawings and standards, preferred but not required. • Attention to detail. • Excellent technology skills including proficiency/experience in Bluebeam; AutoCAD; Revit; Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) • Ability to accurately read complex drawings. • The ability to meet tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment. • Good interpersonal and communication skills • PAY: $70,000 AND UP DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE* POSITION IS FULL TIME/PERMANENT WITH FLEXIBLE HOURS BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 7:00 A.M AND 4:00 P.M., MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.
