Temporary Tax Season Administrative Assistant Location: Arlington, VA Position Type: Temporary, Seasonal (January–April) Hours: Full-time Company Overview Wendroff & Associates, CPA is full service accounting firm, specializing in Tax Preparation, CFO Consulting and Bookkeeping services. Our CPA firm prides itself on its technological advantages and innovative company culture to provide better service to its clients and partners to help them grow their small business and reach their professional goals. About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused Temporary Administrative Assistant to support our team during the busy tax season. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping clients, and can manage multiple tasks with professionalism and accuracy. NOTE: This is not a remote or hybrid position. You must be able to commute to Arlington, VA for regular business hours. Key Responsibilities • Greet clients (in person, by phone, and via email) and provide exceptional customer service. • Manage incoming documents, including scanning, organizing, and uploading files to secure client portals. • Assist with assembling and delivering completed tax returns. • Maintain accurate records and support workflow tracking. • Provide general administrative support to the tax and accounting team as needed. Qualifications • Prior administrative or office support experience preferred (tax or financial industry experience a plus). • Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized under tight deadlines. • Excellent communication skills—professional, friendly, and client-focused. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, scanning software, and general office technology. • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
