With elegant architectural character, flexible space, and top-tier service, we host weddings, corporate functions, fundraisers, galas, holiday parties, and private gatherings. We’re committed to delivering memorable experiences through exceptional hospitality, attention to detail, and a collaborative team culture. The Wellshire Event Center has over 10,000 square feet of event space that caters to groups of 20 to 750 people, and all food and beverage is managed and prepared in-house. Position Summary The Event Manager at Wellshire works along-side our Event Coordinators to oversee all operational and client-facing aspects of event execution. From managing our team of event servers and bartenders to ensuring that each event exceeds the expectations of our clients and their guests, you will play a vital role in maintaining Wellshire’s reputation for excellence. Key Responsibilities • Act as primary point of contact for our staff and our clients during events • Hire, train, and supervise banquet staff including servers and bartenders • Manage event timelines, floor plans, vendor arrangements, and staffing plans tailored to Wellshire’s spaces • Oversee on-site event execution to ensure all details—from setup, décor, catering, and AV, to guest experience—are delivered seamlessly • Communicate with our sales team, planners, kitchen staff, and Event Coordinators to ensure that all events are produced according to plan • Ensure all contracts, Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), and logistical documents are accurate and followed by our internal teams • Post-event reporting and communication with upper management Qualifications/ Skills • Strong understanding and experience in delivering a high-level of hospitality in a venue/event center environment • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills (client, vendor, and team) • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. • Strong attention to detail; ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems proactively • Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, with a focus on banquet or catering services • Knowledge of local regulations (liquor licensing, safety, permits) in Denver is a bonus What We Offer • Competitive pay • Opportunities for training and career advancement in the events industry • A supportive team culture and rewarding work environment in a landmark venue To Apply: Please attach your resume along with a brief cover letter explaining your experience in event management and why you feel that you would be a great candidate for this position.
