About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Product Manager supporting commercial loan accounting capabilities, with primary responsibility for the LoanIQ system of record. The position partners closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and operations to drive product vision, backlog prioritization, and delivery for syndications and related lending initiatives, including AFS‑to‑LoanIQ conversion efforts. The role leads cross‑functional work without direct people management, translating complex lending needs into actionable requirements, guiding Agile execution, and ensuring solutions deliver business value, operational efficiency, and a strong customer experience. This role will support the Loan Accounting and Servicing product area, partnering with Product, Line of Business, Operations, and Technology to deliver strategic initiatives related to commercial loan accounting. These include platform modernization, process improvements, regulatory reporting, new product capabilities, and portfolio migrations. In this role, you will: Own and contribute to the product vision and backlog for loan accounting capabilities, with focus on LoanIQ supporting commercial lending and syndications Prioritize features and work items based on business outcomes, operational needs, and conversion events (e.g., AFS to LoanIQ), balancing stakeholder priorities and dependencies Act as a key liaison between business partners, technology teams, and operations, coordinating with other product owners to deliver a cohesive customer and user experience Lead and influence cross‑functional teams (technology, risk, operations), including Business Analysts and Technical Analysts, to refine features, establish story readiness, define acceptance criteria, and accept work at the story level Identify, manage, and resolve dependencies and interdependencies across initiatives, taking ownership of projects end‑to‑end and driving them forward with minimal oversight Support Agile delivery practices while applying strong commercial lending and loan accounting knowledge to ensure solutions align with business, regulatory, and operational requirements Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements, demonstrating strong business acumen and the ability to partner effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders Required Qualifications: 7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: 7+ years of financial services expertise in commercial lending, regulatory reporting, data & analytics, product management, business process management, and lending technology Demonstrated achievements with implementations across commercial lending products and loan platforms (AFS, Loan IQ, McCracken, Asset Based Lending, Supply Chain Finance, Inventory Finance, Global Receivables and Trade, etc.). Experience leading and supporting large-scale commercial lending platforms and products, including LoanIQ, syndicated lending, and loan accounting; familiarity with ACBS or AFS, or Asset Based Lending (ABL) environments is a plus Demonstrated achievements in implementing portfolio conversions, mergers & acquisitions, platform upgrades and/or implementing new commercial lending platforms Knowledge of LSTA guidelines, credit agreements, and related lending concepts such as international lending and secondary loan trading Strong understanding of the product lifecycle, with the ability to translate business and end‑user needs into prioritized, actionable backlog items Experience working in Agile environments, including Scrum, SAFe, or LeSS; SAFe, Scrum, or POPM certification preferred Ability to lead and influence cross‑functional teams, partnering effectively with business stakeholders, technology, and risk without direct authority Familiarity with design thinking and customer‑centric problem‑solving approaches Strong executive-level presence and communication, negotiation, and prioritization skills (written and verbal), with the ability to balance competing objectives and dependencies Business‑savvy mindset with enough technical understanding to effectively partner with technology teams Proven experience with waterfall and agile delivery methodologies Strong background in product strategy, establishing Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), and roadmap development Ability to manage multiple high-risk, high-priority initiatives simultaneously Experience with machine learning or AI is a plus Proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, Confluence, and Jira Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred Job Expectations: This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship This position offers a hybrid work schedule Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired.
