About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to support Home Lending Financial Planning and Analysis. This position will be part of Home Lending Finance team and the broader Consumer Lending Finance group working with business line finance partners to understand the underlying business drivers of the financials impacting forecast, budget, and month-end variances. In this role, you will: Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives related to financial research, analysis, and reporting Review and analyze moderately complex financial data while providing a broad expertise and unique skills used to develop key metrics reporting, including but not limited to budgeting analysis, forecasting analysis, variance analysis, variance commentary, reporting, reviews, and presentation Contribute to large scale planning such as economic research in support of management decision making Research key financial metric forecasting projections as well as management of financial reporting to support forecasting and budgeting processes Develop strategies and make recommendations for forward financial planning as well as enhancing financial reporting Lead projects to meet the implementation of moderately complex projects impacting one or more lines of business and exercise independent judgment while leveraging a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Establish effective and efficient reporting delivery that meets brand standard and internal control standards Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals Required Qualifications: 4+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Economics Expert in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint preferred) Experience in executive-level reporting Closing research and validation skillset Knowledge and understanding of database querying and creating ad hoc reporting results using Essbase or similar Experience with financial reporting tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, or similar. Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and achieve results Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Pay Range Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location.
