About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Growth Strategy Consultant for our Auto Program Office and Business Growth Strategy Team. This position will be responsible for conducting market analysis and evaluating Wells Fargo’s competitive standing to recommend strategic enhancements. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders across various business lines to identify opportunities for advancement, as well as improve sales and program effectiveness with our OEM captive finance business. Additionally, this role will facilitate cross-functional initiatives that leverage Wells Fargo’s unique assets and capabilities to strengthen existing relationships. Responsibilities also include developing executive-level presentations to support business objectives and overarching strategies. In this role you will: Lead complex initiatives for business development including those that are cross-functional with broad impact and act as key participant in large scale planning initiatives and growth opportunities in assigned markets Review, analyze, and research complex multi-faceted business challenges within captive finance auto; which require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including internal and external market factors to ensure the team is well prepared to meet our captive business objectives in support of Wells Fargo Auto Use data driven insights to identify areas of opportunity to improve sales, profitability, and efficiency across our business in an effort to meet and exceed business goals in support of Wells Fargo Auto objectives Design and create executive level presentations for use across the organization to communicate with various levels of leadership including but not limited to Auto Leadership Team and Auto CEO Identify and select best channels and product combinations to improve effectiveness and efficiency of coverage in marketplaces to meet the unique needs of customers and clients. Ensure adherence with compliance regulations and risk and control policies to ensure contractual obligations to external client Make decisions on complex and multi-faceted development and growth strategies for designated markets requiring solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead team to meet business objectives, deliverables and drive new initiatives Strategically collaborate and consult with mid-level, senior managers, colleagues, stakeholders including internal or external customers, to resolve issues, achieve growth in market share, and meet customer needs; serve as a peer mentor Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Business Growth Strategy experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: 5+ years of auto finance experience 3+ years of analytics experience A BS/BA degree or higher Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as PowerPoint and Excel Job Expectations: Willingness to work on-site at one of the stated locations on the job opening.
