Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Specialty Software Engineer within the Commercial & Corporate & Investment Banking Technology (CCIBT) organization. The role is part of the Securities Lending – Stock Loan Technology team, supporting critical applications and platforms that enable securities lending and collateral management functions across the firm. We are seeking a hands-on senior software engineer who will serve as an individual contributor and technical leader within the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of key application components and business-critical functionality. In this role, you will: Act as a hands-on senior engineer, owning end-to-end delivery of critical Securities Lending modules Design and develop solutions for key areas using Java, Spring, REST, Linux Messaging technologies like Tibco, Solace, MQ and SQL Provide full lifecycle ownership, including development, testing, deployment, and production support Collaborate with support teams and product owners to ensure system stability and align with business needs Leverage AI development tools and domain expertise in Securities Lending to enhance solution quality and delivery efficiency Required Qualifications 4+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education 4+ years of experience in developing applications using Java, Spring, Spring boot 4+ years of experience in Linux, Messaging technologies like Tibco, Solace and IBM MQ 4+ years of experience in SQL with ability to debug complex SQLs, stored procedures and experience in optimizing SQLs Desired Qualifications: Experience in testing frameworks like JUnit, TestNG and Cucumber for writing unit tests and ensuring code quality Working experience with CICD, EPL, GIT Hands on experience in building applications using Agentic AI workflows and AI tools Good understanding or experience in Securities Lending and Collateral Management Strong communication skills, teamwork, and time management skills for effective collaboration with team Job Expectations: This position offers a hybrid work schedule This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship Relocation assistance is not available for this position Locations: 194 Wood Ave S., Iselin, New Jersey 08830 Pay Range Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location.
