About this role: This role is responsible to design and lead a proactive, forward‑looking executive and internal communications program for senior leaders accountable for driving AI outcomes. As an early adopter and strategic thinker, the individual contributor will anticipate opportunities and translate them into a compelling internal narrative that accelerates AI tool adoption and literacy. The role will actively shape and evolve the company’s AI story—creating new approaches, messages, and platforms to influence leaders and employees—while providing strategic counsel to Enterprise AI executives and communicators across lines of business and functions. This position is available in Charlotte, NC; Minneapolis, MN; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; or Washington, DC and offers a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will: Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic counselor to executive leadership of the Enterprise AI Team Develop and implement communications strategies and plans that drive business priorities across the enterprise Act as an AI‑forward leader and early adopter, translating a deep understanding of AI tools, platforms, and technologies into meaningful impact on communications strategy, storytelling, and Wells Fargo’s growth narrative Think with an enterprise lens and partner across Corporate Communications, Enterprise AI, and line of business and enterprise function stakeholders to drive and influence outcomes in alignment with core strategy Write and edit key messages, talking points, and other content to inform target audiences Identify strategic storytelling opportunities that promote executive(s) and key initiatives Work with the leader’s direct reports/dotted line reports to ensure their messaging ladders up Track and measure results to ensure they are in line with intended outcomes Required Qualifications: 7+ years of Public Relations, Media Relations or Corporate Communications experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: Experience developing integrated executive communications strategies and plans for AI or tech domains Experience counseling executives on high profile issues and the delivery of internal communications Experience designing executive thought leadership platforms Experience writing stories across various social, internal, and digital channels Experience building strong relationships and collaborating across large organizations Experience presenting information in a manner that persuades and influences decision makers Office Locations & Pay Ranges: 401 South Tryon Street - Charlotte, NC ($139,000 - $217,000) 600 South 4th Street - Minneapolis, MN ($153,000 - $239,000) 150 East 42nd Street - New York, NY ($167,000 - $260,000) 333 Market Street - San Francisco, CA ($167,000 - $260,000) 1700 K Street, NW - Washington, DC ($167,000 - $260,000) Pay Range Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location.
