Conduct user research, analysis & synthesis, persona development, interaction design, and usability testing to create products that align to overall business needs. You will work across multiple projects collaborating with designers, developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to show the value behind research, what it can do, and why it’s important.QualificationsPreferred:Master’s degree5+ years of work experience in a relevant position or industryExperience working with large-scale data in multi-method studiesThorough knowledge and experience across a range of UX research approaches and methodologies - especially {RITE}Required:For consideration, you must meet one of the following educational/technical requirements:Require PhD in Social Sciences (e.g. Economics, sociology, psychology, decision sciences, Human-Computer Interaction), statistics, computer science or related field. Prefer: journey mapping experienceExperience with designing and analyzing A/B experimentsKnowledge of qualitative research methods and at least one subset of methods (e.g., ethnography) plus usability, user interviewsStrong analytical, and synthesis skills with a proven ability to turn research results into product insights. Experience conveying research findings and implications to audiencesTrack record of collaborating across disciplines (design, engineering, data science) to drive change into productsProven ability to work within tight timelines utilizing excellent project management skillsAdditional InformationIn collaboration product owners, managers, or business stakeholders, develop test plans, conduct research, synthesize findings, make workshop agendas, and create actionable outputs.Work closely with product and design teams to identify research questions, build a research plan, and communicate the insights to shape the user experiences of Wellmark products and capabilities.Design and conduct generative and evaluative research studies using methods such as ethnographic research, interviews, surveys, usability testing, collaborative design among others.
