JOB SUMMARY: The Operations Manager is responsible for driving optimization, leading improvement projects, and supporting operational activities in line with overall company objectives. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Project leadership: Manage project implementation for new development areas, optimization of current operations, • Implementing operational policies and procedures: Enforcing guidelines to enhance productivity and efficiency • Performance monitoring and evaluation: Tracking key performance indicators (KPls) and taking corrective actions to improve efficiency and achieve goals • Budget management: Managing department budget and working to optimize profitability • Team leadership and development: Leading, mentoring, inspiring, training, and motivating individuals and teams to achieve peak productivity and performance. • Safety and Regulation Compliance: Ensuring adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies • Problem-solving: Identifying operational issues, analyzing them, and developing effective solutions to improve workflows and overcome obstacles • Quality control: Implementing, monitoring, and refining quality standards to ensure high product and service quality • Continuous improvement: Lead teams opportunities to improve processes, policies, and systems to achieve organizational goals COMPETENCIES/REQUIRED SKILLS: • Strong verbal and written communication skills by effectively conveying information, ideas, and feedback to diverse audiences, including Team Members and other stakeholders. • Proven interpersonal and customer communication skills. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail by planning, prioritizing , and managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. • Strong project management and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills by identifying, analyzing, and resolving operational challenges using data to identify areas for improvement and make informed decisions. • Proven management and leadership skills with the ability to effectively mentor others. • Thorough understanding of materials and supplies used in the company. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. • Working knowledge of EPICOR is a plus.
