As we expand our operational model, we are seeking a Revenue Cycle Coordinator to establish and lead the foundation of our revenue cycle operations. Position Summary The Revenue Cycle Coordinator will serve as the founding member of Welby Health’s revenue cycle management department. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the organization’s billing operations, including claim submission, payment posting, appeals, denials, compliance, and client invoicing. The Revenue Cycle Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across all billing functions. This position is suited for a highly motivated professional with expertise in medical billing and revenue cycle operations who will establish scalable systems, generate accurate reporting, and contribute strategically to Welby Health’s financial performance. Key Responsibilities Revenue Cycle Operations Establish billing policies, processes, and workflows for claims management and collections; Manage submission, posting, appeals, and denials across electronic medical record systems; Oversee client invoicing, accounts receivable, and reconciliation of payments to ensure accuracy and integrity. Compliance & Regulatory Oversight Ensure compliance with payer requirements, coding guidelines, and federal and state healthcare program regulations; Research and apply regulatory updates and payer rules to maintain compliance and support financial optimization. Reporting & Analytics Develop internal and client-facing reporting on collections, payment accuracy, and overall financial outcomes; Utilize advanced data analysis to evaluate trends and provide insights for leadership. Strategic Contribution Partner with leadership to align billing operations with organizational objectives and growth initiatives; Establish scalable workflows that support efficiency and future departmental expansion; Serve as the primary internal and external resource for billing-related matters. Required Experience Must reside in the United States of America and be legally authorized to work without employer visa sponsorship, now or in the future; Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or closely related business field; Minimum of three years of direct experience in medical billing and revenue cycle operations; Demonstrated proficiency in electronic medical record systems, with advanced capability in Tebra and experience across other leading platforms; Ability to work independently in a remote, technology-driven startup; Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through. Preferred Experience Professional certification in medical billing or coding; Background contributing to the development or optimization of billing operations in a high-growth healthcare organization; Familiarity with both commercial and government payer types; Prior involvement in technology-enabled healthcare environments.
