Role Snapshot • Title: Manufacturing Quality Control Specialist • Shift: 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm (Second Shift) • Location: East Hanover, NJ What You’ll Do • Execute visual and mechanical inspections in alignment with control plans, drawings, spec sheets, and standard procedures • Prioritize and expedite inspection activities to support production flow without sacrificing quality • Collaborate with die setters, engineers, and managers; communicate specs and data clearly in both written and verbal formats • Quarantine nonconforming product, process ERP transactions, and maintain complete inspection records and forms • Assemble data packages that enable timely customer shipments • Support efficiency initiatives by creating and updating visual standards and inspection instructions with senior QC Inspectors and engineering Qualifications • High School diploma or equivalent • 1–3 years of quality inspection in close-tolerance manufacturing • Working knowledge of GD&T to interpret part requirements • Proficiency with metrology tools: hand gauges, microscopes, and comparators • Organized, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a clean workspace • PC proficiency and the ability to learn new systems quickly • Comfort using Microsoft and Adobe applications to author quality documents Compensation Pay Range: $22–$25/hr Transparency on pay: We determine base pay individually, considering job-related skills and knowledge, experience, and internal equity.
