Our team of diverse and experienced project designers and architects ensures every project is client-driven, emphasizing sustainability and the creation of healthy and enriching spaces. At Weddermann Architecture, we are committed to leaving a positive and lasting impact on our community for future generations. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Tacoma, WA for a Project Designer. The Project Designer will be responsible for producing construction drawings, developing space planning and design concepts, managing project timelines, and coordinating with partner consultants. The role will involve collaboration with clients to understand their needs, ensuring their vision drives the project process while maintaining design schedules and quality standards. Qualifications • Proficiency in creating detailed Construction Drawings and preparing Submittals • Strong skills in Space Planning and Architecture, with a focus on design and function • Experience in Project Management, including timeline coordination and consultant collaboration • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Passion for sustainable design and community-focused projects • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field preferred • Previous experience in architectural projects or design firms is an advantage
