About Web Solutions NYC We’re a boutique eCommerce agency solving complex digital challenges for B2B manufacturers, distributors, and PE-owned companies. Our work isn’t cookie-cutter - we modernize operations, streamline order flows, and deliver enterprise-grade customizations on platforms like Shopware and Magento. Despite minimal sales investment, we’ve built a strong business purely on technical reputation. Now we’re ready to scale - and we’re hiring our first dedicated sales leader to take us there. What You’ll Do • Own the entire outbound sales motion - from targeting and outreach to closing deals • Identify companies with aging infrastructure and guide them through the case for digital transformation • Sell both net-new eCommerce builds and long-term support retainers • Turn our technical strengths into business value propositions - fast • Work directly with the CEO, CTO, and COO to shape offers, proposals, and closing strategy • Leverage available research lists and outbound tools (Apollo, Instantly, Clay, etc.) to build pipeline • Collaborate with dev leadership to quickly mock up PoCs and tailor solutions • Build a repeatable system and, over time, grow a team beneath you What You Bring • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally selling digital services or transformation consulting • Fluent in solution selling - you don’t pitch features, you sell outcomes tied to real operational or growth pain points • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify technical solutions for decision-makers • Comfortable with autonomy, ambiguity, and owning the full sales cycle - from outreach to signed contract • Proven ability to shorten sales cycles through creative tactics (e.g., AI-driven research, developer-led PoCs, etc.) • Strong understanding of eCommerce or platform implementation (Magento, Shopware, BigCommerce, etc.) • Confidence selling into mid-sized manufacturing, distribution, or low-IT maturity organizations • Familiarity with ERP/CRM integration value props and how they impact operations • Track record of closing complex 6-figure+ deals with multiple stakeholders • Self-starter who thrives in a builder environment and brings their own momentum • Must close first deal within 90 days (can be maintenance or new build) What We Offer • Fully remote + flexible hours • High-level access to the founding team and senior devs • Support with tooling, research, and marketing materials - we’ll back you up • Ability to shape and own the entire sales engine • Real path to become Head of Sales or build a team as traction builds Why This Role?
