Our team members are more than just another number - they are family. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. This role requires strong analytical skills and a solid accounting background to support financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit activities such as general ledger coding, month-end close responsibilities, cash flow analysis, and financial report generation analysis. Incumbent will back up AP/AR Specialist as needed. This is a hybrid role (work from home flexibility) following an indefinite onboarding period. Responsibilities • Reconcile financial transactions, statements, records, and reports and lead in maintaining the accuracy of ledgers and financial systems. • Assist in the preparation of budgets, settling intercompany transactions, annual audits, and year-end closings. • Ensure deadlines for month-end close of all companies and financial reporting requirements are met and performed in accordance with the accounting policies and/or the financial procedures of the organization and country. • Assist the Controller in the monthly financial closing process and engage in process improvement activities supporting company strategic objectives. • Maintain Fixed Assets records and calculate the monthly depreciation expense. • Interface with outside audit firms, banks, suppliers, and customers to resolve any operational issues that arise. • React positively to change and • Perform other activities as requested. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in accounting and five (5) years' experience and/or equivalent education, training, and job-related experience. • Accrual-based accounting experience in a manufacturing environment required. • Understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial statements. • Strong analytical and effective communication skills. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); hands-on experience with ERP software programs. • High degree of accuracy and attention to details. • Multi-company, international financial consolidations, and currency exchange management are significant pluses. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. • Able to accept accountability for own actions and business results. • Demonstrate initiative, professionalism, and integrity in work ethic. • Successfully manage organizational change initiatives. • Participate on video calls/team meetings via web camera. • Reliable attendance is necessary.
