This position offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive leader to shape the future of our organization in a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape. Responsibilities • Lead the end-to-end execution of the company's expansion plan into new states, collaborating closely with the CEO to set milestones, track progress, and adapt strategies for optimal success. • Conduct market research and analysis to identify viable new regions, assessing regulatory requirements, competitive landscapes, and demographic needs for homecare services. • Attend and represent the company at trade shows, conferences, networking events, and industry forums to build brand awareness, generate leads, and establish traction in target markets. • Recruit, onboard, and set up new sales teams in expansion regions, providing training, resources, and performance metrics to drive revenue growth and client acquisition. • Identify, vet, and integrate new providers, nurses, and caregivers in new areas, ensuring compliance with licensing, certification, and quality standards while building a robust talent pipeline. • Coordinate the setup of payment plans, insurance partnerships, and billing systems in new states, negotiating with insurers, Medicaid/Medicare programs, and other payers to facilitate smooth reimbursement processes. • Develop and implement operational frameworks for new locations, including logistical planning, supply chain integration, and technology adoption to support efficient service delivery. • Monitor expansion metrics, prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as market penetration, client enrollment, and financial projections, and recommend adjustments to achieve strategic goals. • Foster cross-functional collaboration with internal teams (e.g., operations, finance, and compliance) to mitigate risks and ensure alignment during rollout phases. • Travel as needed (up to 30-50% of the time) to new regions for on-site assessments, stakeholder meetings, and launch activities. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development, expansion strategy, or project management within the healthcare or homecare industry. • Proven track record of successfully leading geographic expansions, market entry initiatives, or scaling operations in multi-state environments. • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, insurance ecosystems, and payer negotiations, with experience in Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance setups. • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to build relationships at trade shows, conferences, and with external partners. • Demonstrated expertise in recruiting and team-building, particularly for sales, clinical, and operational roles in remote or new markets. • Proficiency in data analysis, market research tools, and project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, CRM systems like Salesforce). • Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours to support expansion timelines. • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently while collaborating with executive leadership. • Passion for the homecare sector and a commitment to improving access to quality care for underserved populations. Compensation This full-time position offers a competitive base salary of $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, professional development opportunities, and reimbursement for travel and related expenses. Performance-based bonuses may also be available based on achievement of expansion milestones.
