About the Firm A respected national plaintiff-side class action boutique known for high-stakes employment cases and trial wins. The team files and argues matters across the U.S., and bonuses emphasize performance, leadership, mentorship, and team contribution—not origination. The Role Title: Mid-Level Employment Associate (5–7 years) You will: • Serve as the linchpin on wage & hour / class & collective matters. • Draft and argue motions (including class cert), oppositions, and dispositives; prepare strong, persuasive briefs. • Take/defend depositions, manage discovery, prepare mediations, and support/handle arbitrations. • Coordinate parallel individual and class disputes, particularly in California. • Mentor juniors and collaborate closely with partners. Salary & Benefits Base: up to $190,000 (DOE) + Bonus Benefits: Full medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO, professional development support. Remote: 100% remote option (CA-based docket) or hybrid in Emeryville or Los Angeles. Requirements (Must-Haves) • 5–7 years plaintiff-side employment litigation experience. • Wage & hour + class/collective action background (PAGA/FLSA). • Exceptional writing—provide writing samples (class cert/complex briefs ideal). • Proven depo experience and hearing practice; arbitration exposure helpful. • California Bar active and in good standing.
