Operations Project Manager — SaaS Platform for Trucking, Logistics & Supply Chain Location: On-Site Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire or Full-Time Industry: Transportation, Logistics, SaaS About the Project We are developing a next-generation SaaS platform built to transform how commercial trucking and logistics operations are managed. The system integrates fleet management, dispatching, telematics, compliance, route optimization, and analytics into one intelligent ecosystem. This initial launch is the foundation for a broader supply chain innovation initiative — one that will expand to include warehouse management, inventory visibility, and full end-to-end logistics integrations. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the platform’s rollout and continue to drive expansion into these interconnected areas. Key Responsibilities • Program Leadership: Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle — from scoping and design through build, testing, and launch. • Scalable Roadmapping: Develop and manage a strategic roadmap that supports future warehousing, ERP, and supply chain integration modules. • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with engineering, UI/UX, operations, and compliance teams to align milestones and deliverables. • Agile Delivery: Manage sprint cycles, backlog prioritization, and team velocity tracking through Atlassian tools such as Jira. • Vendor & Partner Integration: Oversee external partnerships, including API vendors, telematics providers, payment processors, and WMS/ERP systems. • Budget & Resource Management: Track project budgets, vendor contracts, and allocation of technical and operational resources. • Risk & Change Management: Identify and address project dependencies, risks, and scope changes with a proactive approach. • Stakeholder Communication: Deliver clear, regular updates to leadership, investors, and operational stakeholders on progress, KPIs, and upcoming deliverables. Qualifications • 5+ years of experience managing SaaS or enterprise technology projects, ideally in logistics, supply chain, or transportation sectors. • Deep understanding of cloud-based systems, API integrations, and data interoperability (AWS, Azure, REST APIs, ERP/WMS platforms). • Proven experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies and distributed technical teams. • Familiarity with fleet and compliance technologies (ELD, IFTA, DOT) and/or warehouse management systems (WMS). • Strong background in stakeholder management, vendor coordination, and cross-functional collaboration. • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. • PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification preferred but not required. Future Growth & Expansion This role offers a path to program leadership over the platform’s next development phase — integrating warehousing, freight brokerage, and end-to-end supply chain visibility tools. The ideal candidate will be ready to scale beyond project management into a strategic operational leadership position as the business grows. What We Offer • Opportunity to launch and scale a transformative logistics technology platform from inception. • Hands-on leadership in a project with real-world impact on supply chain efficiency and sustainability. • Competitive compensation with potential for long-term leadership opportunities.
