Are you a seasoned Mission Critical Superintendent or Construction Manager with a proven track record of managing complex, live-environment data center projects? We are seeking an elite, hands-on leader to manage the full lifecycle of our high-priority data center construction and upgrade projects. This is a demanding, high-stakes role where your expertise directly impacts the reliability and uptime of critical infrastructure. You will serve as the primary field leader, ensuring unparalleled safety, quality, and speed across multi-disciplinary scopes involving internal crews and specialized subcontractors. Key Responsibilities: Driving Field Execution & Quality The ideal candidate will embody our commitment to safety and operational excellence while delivering projects under tight deadlines and strict live-environment protocols. • Lead On-Site Operations: Serve as the full-time, dedicated on-site leader beginning at 6:00 AM, directing and managing all activities of internal crews and specialized subcontractors across complex renovation and upgrade projects. • Mission Critical Project Scope: Directly oversee the installation, integration, and commissioning support for critical systems, including BMS, EPMS, Mechanical, Electrical, and Structural scopes of work within active, live data centers. • Safety & Compliance Champion: Maintain an uncompromisingly safe working environment. Actively champion our safety culture and ensure 100% adherence to LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures, coaching and enforcing best practices among all personnel. • Technical Direction & Quality Control: Provide expert technical guidance and field support to trade partners. Ensure all work adheres to quality standards, specifications, and design documents. • Project Liaison & Reporting: Act as the primary field-level liaison between the Project Management team, subcontractors, and the client. Provide timely, accurate construction progress updates, schedule adherence reports, and bottleneck identifications. • Documentation & Logistics: Coordinate essential project logistics, site access, submittals, and maintain accurate field documentation, including RFI logs and as-built records. Required Expertise and Experience To be successful, you must possess the specialized knowledge required to navigate the complexities of a live data center environment. • Experience: 5+ years of dedicated field management experience (Foreman/Superintendent level) specifically within Mission Critical or Live Data Center construction environments is mandatory. • Technical Literacy: Expert ability to read, interpret, and apply complex technical documentation across multiple trades: • Electrical: Interpreting electrical drawings, tracing the flow of power, and understanding one-line diagrams. • Controls/Mechanical: Interpreting P&ID and BMS/EPMS Controls diagrams. • Safety Protocol: Thorough knowledge of simple and complex LOTO procedures and the ability to coach and enforce compliance. (OSHA 30 Certificate strongly preferred.) • System Knowledge: Proven experience with the construction, integration, and commissioning tasks related to Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS). • Aptitude: Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously, and employ solution-oriented problem-solving skills to meet aggressive deadlines.
