Scheduled Hours37.5Position SummaryThis position supports the continuous improvement of the School through ongoing data management, data collection, analysis, and dissemination of findings. This role will be responsible for supporting the data infrastructure of the school, engaging with various committees and taskforces internal to the School of Public Health, along with key university partners, to implement data collection and analysis in support of advancing the school's strategic plan and maintaining good standing with the school's accreditors.Job DescriptionPrimary Duties & Responsibilities: Data ManagementBuilds and maintains systems for tracking strategic priorities of the school, including key performance indicatorsDevelops systems for tracking all documentation related to each committee, council or taskforce in collaboration with key leaders.Data CollectionDesigns and implements strategies (e.g., surveys, databases, focus group guides) to support data collection and reporting in service of school-wide evaluation, university-wide evaluation, and accreditation and compliance-required reporting.In collaboration with relevant university and community interest holders, identifies opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance data collection strategies.Data AnalysisIdentifies and implements appropriate analytic procedures for quantitative and qualitative data.Conducts descriptive and statistical analyses of quantitative data collected using statistical analysis programs (e.g., SPSS, R, Excel).Conducts thematic analyses of qualitative data using appropriate software (e.g., NVivo, Excel).DisseminationContributes to dissemination products (e.g., reports, dashboards, presentations, manuscripts).Contributes to annual accreditation-required reporting and re-accreditation process every five to seven years.Liaises with university partners to provide school-level data in support of university strategic prioritiesEffectively communicates, delegates, and manages data analysis and dissemination-related tasks to graduate student employees.Prepares accessible materials for distribution to collaborators relaying strategic priorities and progress towards strategic goals.Performs other duties as assigned.Working Conditions:Job Location/Working ConditionsNormal office environmentPhysical EffortTypically sitting at a desk or tableEquipmentOffice equipmentThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to this classification.
