Job Summary We are looking for a Patient Care Location Solution Consultant supporting the Revenue Cycle and CORE foundational build of clinical locations within the Cerner/Oracle Electronic Health Record. This consultant would support a very large organization at the Enterprise level. Expertise in the functionality, clinical workflows and technical build are mandatory. The Revenue Cycle Solutions Consultant will have experience with configuration/build of Cerner Millennium backend. CLIENT: Military Health System (MHS) / Defense Health Agency (DHA) ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Expertise in the Cerner/Oracle Revenue Cycle and CORE location build tools and position security. • Experience with EHR issue resolution and optimization experience including workflow assessments, system design, data collection (DCW), system configuration, testing and validation, integration to third-party platforms across production and non-production domains. • Proficient in the use of Backend Millennium tools and applications [for example: Location.exe, CoreEventManager, HNAUser]. • Experience with issue investigation, troubleshooting, and developing a resolution incorporating best practice workflows. • Ability to guide design and build efforts to meet the clinical need. • Able to translate clinical workflow needs into efficient/standardized EMR build. • Able to justify venue and build needs based upon understanding of EMR System integration across Applications, Solutions, and Departments. • Expertise in deploying Enterprise standards and collaboration-based system optimization in a very large organization with many facilities. • Must have a working knowledge of the Cerner Oracle Health systems architecture. ‘How does everything connect’. • Possess the ability to apply interpersonal skills, knowledge in the areas of End User (EU) expectation management, clinical workflows, and clinical process improvements methodologies. • Understanding of reporting tools functionality and capabilities. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Supports multiple facilities as a key clinical informatics resource for issue investigation, resolution, validation, technical build and change deployment. • Works with enterprise subject matter experts on a variety of issues. • Demonstrated experience and ability to assist client in developing strategies and concepts. • Possess the ability to apply interpersonal skills, knowledge in the areas of End User (EU) expectation management, clinical workflows, and clinical process improvements methodologies. • Ability to manage deadlines and recurring deliverables. • Participates in Enterprise level projects. QUALIFICATIONS: • 3 + years of Health Informatics experience • Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent, or higher in Informatics, Computer Science, Public Health, or related clinical/medical/business discipline (recommended) • Experience with configuration/build of Cerner Millennium backend. • Experience with resolving tickets (preferred). • Demonstrated ability to excel both independently and as a team member in a lively, collaborative environment. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. • Have excellent knowledge of the use of Microsoft Office Products and related applications. US Citizenship Required – Candidate will need to obtain a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). Minimal travel to local or other non-local locations.
