The Role We’re seeking an experienced Head of Event Marketing to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of events that strengthen WareSpace’s brand presence and deepen our connection to local small business communities. As the senior-most events leader, you will set the vision for our national events strategy, build scalable programs, and ensure every activation—from intimate local gatherings to high-visibility grand openings—delivers measurable impact. This role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking, budget ownership, and hands-on leadership in bringing events to life. You’ll collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and operations leadership to align events with business priorities, and you’ll oversee external partners and vendors to deliver world-class experiences. Responsibilities Event Strategy & Leadership ●Define and own WareSpace’s national events strategy to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and community impact. ●Translate business goals into an annual events calendar that spans grand openings, community activations, sponsorships, and large-scale business expos. ●Partner with the executive team and marketing leadership to align event programs with pipeline, revenue, and brand objectives. ●Continuously evaluate event performance and evolve programs based on ROI and attendee feedback. Event Development & Execution ●Oversee planning and execution of all major WareSpace events, ensuring flawless production and on-brand experiences. ●Direct the design of event formats, programming, and creative concepts that differentiate WareSpace in the marketplace. ●Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and negotiations; ensure all legal and compliance requirements are met. ●Lead cross-functional coordination with marketing, PR, and sales teams to maximize event amplification through campaigns, media coverage, and digital content. Budget & Operations Oversight ●Own the events budget end-to-end, including forecasting, approvals, and reconciliation. ●Ensure efficient resource allocation across programs while maintaining the highest standards of execution. ●Report on event ROI, community impact, and business outcomes to the executive team. Team & Vendor Leadership ●Build and manage a high-performing network of agencies, vendors, and partners to scale event execution. ●Provide clear leadership, coaching, and direction to internal team members and external collaborators. ●Cultivate relationships with community leaders, local partners, and business networks to enhance event reach and authenticity. Qualifications ●8–12 years of experience in event strategy, production, or experiential marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. ●Proven success designing and executing events that drive measurable business results. ●Strong track record of budget ownership and vendor/agency management at scale. ●Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. ●Experience with cross-channel marketing integration (PR, social, digital) around events. ●Strong creative orientation with the ability to innovate while staying on-brand. ●Bonus: Experience in real estate, coworking, or community-focused industries.
