Primary Function Auditors support warehouse operations by ensuring the accuracy, quality, and compliance of inventory and shipments. This position plays a key role in maintaining operational integrity by verifying shipments, conducting audits, and checking products for accuracy and quality. The Auditor must have strong organizational skills, experience using RF equipment and material handling equipment, and a commitment to safety and process compliance. Key Responsibilities: • Inventory Verification: • Use RF (Radio Frequency) scanning equipment to verify incoming and outgoing shipments. • Confirm item quantities, descriptions, and lot numbers match system and physical inventory. • Report and document any discrepancies or errors. • Auditing: • Perform regular inventory audits using RF devices and manual methods to ensure stock accuracy. • Assist in cycle counts, spot checks, and full inventory audits. • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records for internal tracking and external compliance. • Quality & Compliance Checks: • Inspect products for damage, defects, or noncompliance with standards. • Ensure all items are properly labeled, packaged, and meet quality requirements before shipment or storage. • Check outbound orders for accuracy prior to staging or loading. • Equipment Operation: • Safely operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or reach trucks (if certified). • Ensure equipment is used in accordance with safety guidelines and company policies. • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly. • Process Documentation: • Record findings and prepare reports on errors, discrepancies, or corrective actions. • Update warehouse management systems (WMS) with audit and verification results. • Support adherence to company procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory standards. • Collaboration & Communication: • Coordinate with warehouse associates, leads, and supervisors to resolve inventory or shipment issues. • Communicate discrepancies or quality concerns to appropriate departments. • Contribute to process improvements and participate in team meetings as needed. Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent required. • 1–2 years of warehouse, inventory control, or quality assurance experience preferred. • Proficient with RF scanning devices and basic computer systems. • Experience operating material handling equipment (MHE) such as forklifts or pallet jacks preferred; certification is a plus. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment. • Basic math and documentation skills. • Must be able to frequently lift 20-40 lbs and stand, walk, or bend for extended periods. Work Environment: • Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and warehouse equipment. • Requires use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as mandated by company policy.
