## Key Role Overview Senior Technician, General Facilities Maintenance responsible for performing and overseeing routine maintenance tasks to maintain the safety, functionality, and appearance of Walmart stores, equipment, and fixtures. The role operates under the supervision of the local General Maintenance Manager and requires multi-craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment) to troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and document work across store facilities. ## Key Responsibilities - Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (for example: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment) and hand and power tools. - Utilize the work order management system to receive reactive repair Work Orders, support store associates, and document repair activities. - Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls. - Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues and determine appropriate repairs. - Complete required training to operate equipment and tools safely and adhere to established maintenance schedules and guidelines. ## Required Qualifications - 18 years or older with High School Diploma or equivalent. - Vocational or Technical certification and 5 years' experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade; OR 7 years' experience in one of these trades (alternative path). - Valid Driver's License and eligibility for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL). - Ability to lift 20 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally; ability to move up and down ladders frequently; comfortable working at heights frequently. - At least 1 year’s experience using intermediate-level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power.
