Position Summary...We’re looking for an experienced and data-driven Senior Manager, Product Marketing – Mobile App to join our dynamic team supporting Walmart app’s (US) continued growth. In this high-impact role, you will define innovative growth strategies and lead workstreams that accelerate app adoption and lifecycle retention. Working closely with cross-functional partners across the company, you’ll uncover key insights and unlock new opportunities for our target digital audiences with go-to-market efforts. Leveraging your expertise in digital/mobile marketing and audience growth, you will also co-develop playbooks and foster strong collaborative relationships to support our Walmart app user goals. If you are a strategic marketer with a deep understanding of online and offline marketing levers and how to use them to drive digital growth, and have an affinity to deliver on Walmart’s promise to enhance customers’ lives, we'd like to connect with you. What you'll do... • Influence and shape marketing strategies, positioning, and narratives using data and insights for target audiences in close collaboration with customer insights, product, retail marketing, and business stakeholders. • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies including goals, success metrics, asset development and integrated launch planning with cross functional partners. • Manage complex initiatives and lifecycle campaigns from inception through execution, including developing creative briefs, channel and media planning oversight and approvals. • Product marketing: participate in product positioning, messaging, and launches to ensure customers understand and adopt new features. • Lead strategic audience campaigns across the Walmart ecosystem, from developing creative briefs to securing approvals, and defining measurement in partnership with teams and stakeholders. • Partner with performance marketing on outbound and owned channel strategies and programs that drive long-term app engagement and retention. • Work closely with analytics partners to track and measure marketing campaigns to determine success or areas of improvement. • Execute performance analysis and projections, showcasing results and presenting to business partners, product, and leadership. Minimum Qualifications: • 7+ years of overall marketing experience, including direct product and audience marketing in collaboration with product teams, business units, and stakeholders. • 5+ years relevant experience in B2C ecommerce and digital marketing, with a strong preference for mobile platforms. • Knowledge of and demonstrated success with audience marketing disciplines: acquisition, lifecycle retention, brand, media, creative, content, product marketing and partnerships. • Experience with consumer facing GTM strategies and digital product launches based on consumer driven insights. • Solid understanding of marketing and media analytics and the ability to work with data to understand and analyze performance, optimize plans, make quick decisions and measure impact to the business. • Knowledge of and interest in ecommerce customer and mobile consumer behavior. • Proven project or product management leadership and ability to influence cross-functionally. • Risk-taker, comfortable in fast-paced environment; capable of managing multiple projects, priorities. • Strong communication and analytical skills with the ability to think strategically, but also dive in to complete work. • BA/BS degree in business, marketing or equivalent relevant experience with strong academic record.
