As Director, Communications, you'll drive high-visibility initiatives supporting our $1.7B philanthropic efforts and advance transformative change across Walmart and the Walmart Foundation. About Global Communications Global Communications is Walmart's voice to the world-crafting clear, compelling narratives that connect our mission to communities, customers, and associates. Our team operates at the intersection of innovation and impact, leading integrated communications for key initiatives across the enterprise. In this role, you'll directly influence Walmart's community outreach and philanthropic storytelling, connecting our giving strategy with business goals and stakeholder engagement. What you'll do... • Develop and execute internal and external communications strategies to elevate Walmart's reputation and philanthropic impact. • Advise senior leaders and serve as a high-level spokesperson on community and giving initiatives. • Lead creative, integrated digital and media campaigns; monitor and measure results. • Foster relationships with media, bloggers, and key stakeholders; manage public relations opportunities and issues. • Partner cross-functionally to empower associates and communities, driving engagement and local giving culture. What you'll bring • Proven communications experience in large, complex organizations. • Expertise in change and process management, leveraging data and AI to inform strategy. • Demonstrated success in executive communications and crisis/issues management. • Strong track record of building media relationships and executing high-impact campaigns. • Experience in philanthropy, community engagement, or corporate social responsibility a plus. The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
