Our law firm client is seeking a Programmer Analyst (with Aderant or Elite 3E) to support and enhance financial technology systems across the organization. This position plays a critical role in developing solutions that improve billing operations, financial reporting, workflow automation, and overall system performance. The role works cross-functionally with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to translate operational needs into scalable applications and reliable data tools that drive efficiency and accuracy. Responsibilities • Translate finance and business requirements into effective technical solutions. • Design and maintain custom applications, reporting tools, dashboards, and queries supporting financial operations. • Develop integrations, databases, and automated processes that streamline workflows and improve data reliability. • Build and support solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI). • Contribute to system upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing platform optimization. • Support initiatives tied to billing, collections, cash applications, rate structures, and complex fee arrangements. • Manage integrations with internal and third-party systems. • Maintain technical documentation for applications and processes. • Monitor system performance, stability, and user access. • Provide technical troubleshooting and end-user support for financial systems. • Assist with testing for new functionality, enhancements, and automation efforts. Requirements • Bachelor's degree with more than 4 years of software development experience within a law firm or legal services environment. • Direct hands-on experience with Aderant and/or Elite 3E is required. • Strong programming background in C#, VB, JavaScript, and SQL. • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools. • Familiarity with SSMS, SSRS, ETL tools such as Alteryx or SSIS, and integration platforms like Boomi. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel. This role is remote and can be hired from TX, NY, CA, DC, IL.
